Campus Group Relationship Tiers

J Street U Groups

J Street U groups share our name and mission. These groups adopt the J Street U mission statement, statement of principles and core principles. J Street U groups are eligible to apply for micro-grants and are eligible for other funding and resources from J Street U. Members of these groups can run for a board position.

Affiliate Groups

Affiliate groups adopt J Street U’s core principles but maintain a different name and branding. These groups do not have to adopt the J street U statement of principles, but they cannot actively organize against them. Affiliated groups are eligible to apply for micro-grants and are eligible for other funding and resources from J Street U. Members of these groups can run for a board position.

Partner Groups

These groups do not share J Street U’s branding but do share our general mission and participate in at least one J Street U campaign per year. They do not have to adopt our core principles but cannot actively organize against them. These groups are eligible to apply for micro-grants. Members of these groups can run for a board position.

Associate Groups

These groups do not share our branding and might not share our general mission. They do not have to adopt our core principles but cannot actively organize against them. These groups are eligible to apply for micro-grants. Members of these groups cannot run for board positions.


Campus Liaisons

Campus liaisons are our initial point of contact at universities. J Street U organizers work with campus liaisons to design a pro-peace strategy that fits the specific needs of your campus. If you would like to get involved with J Street U, search below to see if your campus is already represented by a campus liaison. If not, we’d love to help you get started. Contact us at info@jstreetu.org and we’ll get you set up immediately.
